Club Bolo offers classes and open dance evenings. It is also a social club where people enjoy meeting each other. A sense of hospitality and friendship has characterized us for over 20 years! We are a non-profit organization run 100% by volunteers.

All our dance classes are taught by talented instructors in many styles including: line dancing, partner, contra and mixers. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. You can choose the level of difficulty the most appropriate for you. Our dance class sessions run from September to December and January to June.

Step sheets are available in Choreographies, and you can see a demo video for the most recent ones (YouTube).

Club Bolo hosts two special events called Stomps and also various activities during the year.

The Country Stomp takes place in the Fall season and is a weekend of dancing with workshops and open dancing. Many of the teachers come from other groups in the city, province or country. The evening parties are a great way to try out the new dances from the workshops, and to meet and dance with friends visiting from other clubs. See the upcoming events section for the dates of the next Country Stomp.

The Sweetheart Stomp takes place in February, usually around Valentine’s day. This is another weekend filled with dance but this time the accent is a little more on couple dances and the theme for the evening parties is of course ‘love’. See the upcoming events section for the dates of the next Sweetheart Stomp.

A Christmas Party is held each year, usually the first Saturday in December, for members and their guests. The evening starts with a full-sit down Christmas dinner followed by an evening of dancing and other surprises. The date for this year’s Christmas party is listed under upcoming events and in the calendar.

In addition to the above Club Bolo organizes special events throughout the year such as special dance workshops, Halloween party, fund raising events. Keep your eye on the upcoming events and calendar sections to make sure you do not miss out on some of the exciting things planned.
