Call for participants in an artistic experience!

The festival Montréal Complètement Cirque is seeking citizens to live a unique artistic experience by participating in Minutes Complètement Cirque.
A hallmark of the Festival, these Minutes are a highly interactive ambulatory where dozens of acrobats snatch bystanders and lead a performance right in the heart of urban architecture streets.
Participants are neither professional, nor dancers nor acrobats but average citizens will for a choir that will accompany the prowess of 30 acrobats, thus amplifying the pictures show. Led by directors and renowned choreographers, they will become familiar with a choreographic language that will allow them to perform synchronized actions among the public.
The Minutes Complètement Cirque will provide a group experience and an opportunity to live a unique artistic experience.
Volunteers are invited to audition alone, or with friends or family, on Sunday, April 26, 2015 between 1 PM and 5PM.

Mobilise Project

Bolo Club members and friends are invited to participate in the MOBILISE project. This Community research project seeks to mobilize men who have sex with men and prevention actors (clinical environment, community, public health and research) to produce systemic changes in access to prevention strategies, according to a combined approach.

We would like to invite gays and bisexual members of your club to participate in our strategy of citizen teams. This strategy is to form two or three community members as peer researchers to consult their own network about their knowledge and needs for HIV prevention. Our team will be happy to attend a meeting with members of the Club about the project details, its activities and how to participate. The MOBILISE project can improve their knowledge of current methods of HIV prevention and strengthen the role of gay and bisexual communities access to existing prevention and health promotion methods. Financial compensation is also provided for those who complete the entire research process with their communities.

Tyler Goolsby Scholarship Applications

Thanks to many generous donations, the IAGLCWDC is pleased to announce that Tyler Goolsby Scholarship Applications for the Montreal Hoedown in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, July 2-5, 2015, are now being accepted.

Due to technical delays in setting up our website to accept both USD and CAD currencies, it became necessary to delay accepting scholarships as well.
