Our Activities
Club Bolo offers classes and open dance evenings. It is also a social club where people enjoy meeting each other. A sense of hospitality and friendship has characterized us for over 30 years! We are a non-profit organization run 100% by volunteers.
Our Courses:
- Our dance classes are taught by talented instructors in many styles including: line dancing, partner, contra and mixers.
- We offer beginner and intermediate/advanced classes. You can choose the level of difficulty the most appropriate for you.
- Our dance class sessions run from September to December and January to June.

To give you a chance to try it out, our first 3 classes are free. After that, there are several reasonably priced payment options (since we’re not in the profit-making business; see our Entrance Fees and Box Office pages).
Our Evenings
The Club is open for free dancing on Fridays after classes, from 9 p.m. to midnight (see the Schedule page). Come and practice the dances you’ve learned, or simply spend an evening with us!
Our Special Events
Club Bolo organizes all kinds of festive events throughout the year:
- The Sweetheart Stomp takes place in February, usually around Valentine’s day. This is another weekend filled with dance but this time the accent is a little more on couple dances and the theme for the evening parties is of course ‘love’.
- A Christmas Party is held each year, usually the first Saturday in December, for members and their guests. The evening starts with a full-sit down Christmas dinner followed by an evening of dancing and other surprises.
